“The Right Stuff” is what can set you apart in the carpet maintenance industry.

Take a look at the complete listing of products in our carpet maintenance line-up. You’ll see an extensive variety of choices – each with unique chemistry that serves a different function and purpose.

It’s hard to move a washer and dryer in a Prius, and it’s pretty impossible to get 50 mpg in a pickup truck. Automobile manufacturers make both types of vehicles to perform different functions. And that’s why XL North makes more than one type of chemistry for cleaning and maintaining floors.

Using “The Right Stuff” is much more than a catchy movie title; in the maintenance industry, it’s what needs to be done to be successful. A good friend of mine often uses the old adage “If all you have is a hammer, everything starts looking like a nail.” At XL North, we have more than just a hammer in our arsenal.

Let’s look at the offerings in our carpet care line. You’ll see several choices – all of them with a purpose.

LOW MOISTURE CHEMISTRIES

GRAB Dry is a non-abrasive, absorbent extraction powder cleaner built with on board cleaning chemistry. GRAB Dry is a dry carpet cleaning technology that works differently than other products. It delivers superior results while returning the space to working order in minutes.

Liquid GRAB was the original low moisture encapsulant developed by Interface to provide the highest level of cleaning effectiveness while still allowing encapsulation of the soils.

Liquid GRAB Green became our number one cleaning encapsulant as the green movement advanced. The surfactants and polymers are the most advanced in the industry all while providing clients with a truly green experience designed for the environment.

ResisTech 5 continues the legacy of Antron’s history in providing chemistry that is light years from the norm. ResisTech 5 is a carpet care system – not just a cleaner, it refortifies the acid dye blocker found in all nylon fibers. It also re-applies the chemistry that helps protect the fiber from everyday abuse. With these unique properties ResisTech 5 continues to lead all other chemistries.

GRAB PUR is our latest product to hit the encapsulation field. GRAB PUR is built around the purist co-polymer chemistry. When used, GRAB PUR creates a light, non-residue crystal that can then be vacuumed away leaving nothing behind.

EXTRACTION CHEMISTRIES

GRAB Nylon Pre-Spray Advanced is a state of the art, high strike, low dilution product. Whether you’re working in high traffic areas or restaurants, it offers the ideal effecient solution.

GRAB Nylon Pre-Spray is an ammoniated formula – when drying quickly is a must.

SPOTTING CHEMISTRIES

In terms of spotting chemistry, it is an absolute must to have “the right stuff”. Throughout the entire line of XL North products, we try to name them for what they actually do! Products like Ink Spotter, Rust Remover, Enzyme Spotter, Coffee Spotter, and Charge Away all clean the spots and stains for which they are named.

GRAB APG (Adhesive, Paint and Grease) is an non-volatile dry solvent (NVDS). This simply means it will not evaporate. In coordination with GRAB APG, XL North has GRAB VDS available. It’s a multi-purpose volatile dry solvent specifically designed as a rinsing agent for any NVDS product. The combination of these two spotters can form a powerful duo to get out the toughest of spots.

GRAB Gel Spotter is an effective, thickened spotting solvent with time release formula. It removes a wide variety spots such as asphalt, tar, gum, auto grease, oil, food oils, crayon, lipstick and oily cosmetics.

Just like that pickup truck or Prius, each product in the XL North Carpet Chemistries line serves a unique purpose. With our world having so many different floors, you can see why it’s so easy to make them a nail with the same hammer. “The Right Stuff” is what can set you apart in the floor maintenance industry.
