Because the Coronavirus pandemic situation is constantly evolving, we want to remind our customers, partners, distributors, and end users that Vital Oxide is on the EPA List N of Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes the disease COVID-19.

The Coronavirus outbreak has been prominent in the news lately. As concerns about the virus grow here in the U.S. and abroad, XL North reached out to our partner Vital Solutions for a statement about the virus and Vital Oxide’s effectiveness against it. From Vital Solutions GM, James Parker Burnett:
“We do not know of any domestic product that can make direct claims, as testing is not available in the US. We do fit the emerging pathogen requirements for viruses showing efficacy against envelope and non-envelope virus, both large and small. As the 2019-nCoV is in the coronavirus genus and we currently have efficacy on Feline coronavirus, Strain WSU 79-1683, ATCC VR 989** Canine coronavirus Strain 1-71, ATCC VR-809** we feel we will be effective against this strain as well.”
