Low Moisture
Recommended Low Moisture Process
Liquid Grab Green
- Follow proper vacuum techniques if necessary.
- Place wet floor signs at all transition points
- Pre Spot, follow proper stain removal techniques
- Pre-spray with Liquid Grab Green concentrate mix at 12 oz per gal. Pre-spray heavy enough so the carpet doesn’t dry out before it can be agitated in, spray the solution as evenly as possible.
- Agitate the chemistry into the carpet using an XLerator, a counter rotating brush machine.
Because of the counter rotating brushes provides excellent agitation and pile restoration. This procedure should be done in a W pattern creating the “saw tooth” appearance. The goal is to provide a visually appealing carpet, you will not get this if you run the XLerator straight forward in a lawn mower pattern and the carpet will not be as clean because the carpet fiber is not being cleaned from all sides. Clean off the debris from the collection bar between the brushes when the debris starts to fall onto the carpet. When using the XLerator, remember that it can “eat” extension cords, mouse cords and computer wiring instantly. Remember to be very careful when working under desks or any area where these cords could be.
- After carpet is dry (usually around 30 minutes) vacuum floor with a CRI SOA vacuum, this will remove the encapsulated soil and debris in the carpet.
